NCA ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD MEMBERS!

Date

Exciting news from the Nosara Civic Association (NCA)! We recently held our extraordinary assembly on June 10th to welcome three fresh faces to the Board of Directors.

Kuki Araya (Secretary and former President), KeriDawn Solner (Vocal III), and Fritz Elmendorf ( former Secretary and Vocal I), resigned their positions after many years of dedicating their time and energy to serving the community. Keri Dawn is moving back to the States and Kuki and Fritz will be spending more time pursuing their other interests. We wish them all well. They will be missed.

We took this opportunity to look at the composition of our board and seek out new members that reflect the current diversity of the community. This renewal process is part of the NCA’s dedication to reconnecting with different sectors of Nosara and representing everyone’s interests.

Let’s meet the new members who will be taking up important roles:

BRIGETTE FINLEY: SECRETARY

Say hello to Brigette Finley, the new Secretary. Brigette initially visited Nosara in 2013 as a Yoga trainer and loved it so much that she and her family decided to make it their home in 2020. With a deep passion for surfing, nature, and community, Brigette actively engages with the local scene. She’s involved as a parent in her daughter’s class at Del Mar Academy, teaches English to children at the David Kitson Library, and leads yoga classes. Her mission is to preserve the magical spirit of Nosara.

PATTI ROSATTI: VOCAL MEMBER I

Next up, we have Patti Rosatti. Patti is an interior designer and creative director who founded her own studio in Toronto in 2003. After falling head over heels for Nosara, she made it her permanent residence in 2020. Patti is also Vice President of the Las Huacas Community Association and a true lover of nature.

ANDRÉS FERNÁNDEZ: VOCAL MEMBER III

Last but not least, let’s warmly welcome Andres Fernández, our new Vocal III. Andres is a Co-founder of Nosara Crece and a Partner at Vive el Sueño. With his vast experience in Hospitality, Real Estate, and Business Development, Andres has immersed himself in the Nosara community for eight years. He brings valuable knowledge from various sectors and, as a “Chepeño” is determined to contribute to the regeneration of Nosara.

Bart de Graaf, the President of the NCA, expressed his gratitude for the outgoing board members and highlighted the significance of the newly formed Board of Directors. “This diverse group, consisting of locals and ex-pats, young and more experienced, will work hand in hand to tackle the new challenges Nosara faces and champion the community’s interests
